Williamsburg, KY – After putting together the most historic season in program history, six University of the Cumberlands Volleyball players earned AVCA All-Region honors, the highest of any team, the organization announced. Outside hitter Sara Zampedri, setter Savanah Jolly, and libero Davey Slaughter were tabbed First Team All-Region, while Brynnley Bryant, Kara Gibson, and Alana Shiery garnered Honorable Mention recognition. Zampedri was also voted Region Player of the Year, and Assistant Coach Jung Park was named Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

Zampedri collects All-Region honors for the third consecutive year after a dominant junior campaign in which she led the Patriots with 415 kills, averaging 3.71 kills per set, while hitting .269 on the season. She added 310 digs, 76 aces, and 33 blocks, showcasing her all-around impact. Zampedri posted double-digit kills in 27 matches and tallied 20-plus kills four times on the year. Her standout performance helped power a Cumberlands offense that finished the season hitting .312 as a team.

Jolly earns First Team honors for the first time in her career after orchestrating one of the most efficient offenses in the NAIA. The junior setter dished out 1,208 assists, averaging 10.98 assists per set, while also contributing 308 digs and 33 service aces. Jolly recorded 40 or more assists in nine matches, including a career-high 58 against CIU.

Slaughter claims First Team All-Region recognition after anchoring the Patriot defense with one of the best libero seasons in program history. The senior posted 500 digs (4.31 per set), while adding 71 aces and 112 assists. Slaughter notched double-digit digs in 32 matches and recorded 20 or more digs seven times on the year. Her serve-receive consistency played a central role in UC's transition game throughout the season.

Bryant earned Honorable Mention honors after a breakout first season with the Pats in which she tallied 387 kills (3.39 per set), 293 digs, and 31 aces, while hitting .260 across 114 sets. Bryant recorded double-digit kills in 23 matches.

Gibson capped off her senior campaign with Honorable Mention recognition, delivering one of the most efficient offensive seasons in the country. She posted 248 kills while hitting .482, the highest percentage in the NAIA, and added 83 total blocks. Gibson recorded at least four blocks in six matches and was a critical presence at the net on both sides of the ball.

Shiery rounds out UC's honorees, earning Honorable Mention after producing 230 kills, hitting .385, and adding 109 total blocks from the middle position.

The Patriots six All-Region selections highlight what was unquestionably the best season in program history. Cumberlands finished with a remarkable 36-1 record, captured the MSC Regular Season Championship for the first time ever, and secured their second MSC Tournament Championship in three years. UC went on to earn its third straight berth to the NAIA Opening Round, advancing to the NAIA Final Site for the first time in school history.
