Bowling Green, KY – One Patriot on the UC Men's Bowling team garnered All-Conference honors, conference officials announced. Austin Hale was named to the Mid-South Conference Second Team All-Conference list. This is the first time in his career that Hale has earned All-Conference honors.
In conference action this season, the junior bowled in 14 games where he had a total pinfall of 2850 for a 203.6-pin average. Hale's best outing came at the Brandon Burns Memorial Tournament, where he placed fourth overall with a total pinfall of 935 pins through four games for a 233.8-pin average.
The Mt. Washington, KY native also earned MSC Bowler of the Week earlier this season for the second time in his career. He placed seventh overall out of 370 bowlers at the Columbia 300 Shootout.
Both bowling teams are currently in Bowling Green, KY competing at the MSC Championships. The Pats are competing in individual singles and doubles action today, while team rounds start tomorrow.
