Bowling Green, KY – Brynn Poulson earns her first Mid-South Conference Runner of the Week honor, conference officials announced Monday.
Poulson finished with a time of 18:56.59 to place third overall out of 72 runners in the women's 5K at the Berea/Centre Jamboree this past Friday. This time places her just outside of the top 15 runners in school history. The freshman was the top finisher for UC as well as the top finisher in the NAIA at this meet.
Poulson's efforts helped UC secure the team title out of six teams. Poulson becomes the first Patriot to receive the honor this season and marks the first of her career.
Poulson and the Patriots will return to the course on Friday, September 12th at the Southern Showcase hosted by Jacksonville State University in Huntsville, Alabama.
