Bowling Green, KY – An impressive debut, which featured three wins, led to Patriots Titouan Bernot being named the Mid-South Conference Swimmer of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

Bernot opened the week by pulling away from the field to win the 200 yard free against NCAA DI Garner-Webb.  The freshman clocked a 1:39.70, which ranks tenth in the NAIA this season. 

The Nancy, France native followed that up by touching the wall in 46.42 to win the 100 free with his second NAIA Provisional Cut.  Bernot capped off his meet leading off UC's 200 free relay that went 1:23.96, which hit the NAIA "A" Cut.

UC returns to the water on Friday, January 16th, when they travel to Danville, KY to face Centre and Transylvania in a tri-meet.  That meet is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
