Bowling Green, KY – Continuing their excellence both on the field and in the classroom, nine Patriots have been named to the Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference Team, marking the eighth consecutive season Cumberlands men's soccer has earned recognition for academic achievement.

Leading the way for UC are returners Abdulah Adams, Gabriel Canineu, Zachary Dean, Samuel Dolobaipu, and Martin Gomez, each earning the honor for another season.

First-time honorees include Anthony Carriel, Luca Piazza, Zabir Taylor, and Alejo Zambrano.

In addition to his Academic All-Conference recognition, Zachary Dean was also named to the MSC Champions of Character Team. The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport, honoring student-athletes nominated by their coaches for demonstrating leadership on and off the field, as well as embodying the NAIA's five core character values.

To be nominated for the Academic All-Conference team, each athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and be in their third term or fourth quarter.
