Williamsburg, KY – After earning Medalist honors at the MSC Fall Tournament, golfers Jasmine Points and Isaac Jones have been named the Appalachian Wireless Athletes of the Week, the athletic department announced Monday. 
 
Jasmine Points collects Athlete of the Week honors after she won the MSC Fall Invite. Points finished atop the individual leaderboard with a three-round total of 221 (+5). The sophomore opened the tournament with a 75 (+3), before firing a two-under-par, 70, in the second round to climb up the leaderboard. It also marked the lowest round of the tournament for Cumberlands. Points closed with a 76 (+4) to secure medalist honors. She closed out the week with nine birdies.
 
Isaac Jones earned Athlete of the Week honors after capturing Medalist honors at the MSC Fall Championship.  Jones carded a 208 (-8) over the 54-hole course to finish atop the leaderboard.  The freshman opened the tournament with a 71 (-1) before firing a five-under-par, 67, in the second round. Jones closed the event with a 70 (-2) in the final round to earn the win by one stroke.  He closed out the tournament with 13 birdies as Cumberlands captured the team title.
