Bowling Green, KY – Darius Kuster was named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week following a dominant weekend at the LMU Indoor Tennis Facility, helping lead the Patriots to wins over Tusculum and Carson-Newman. 

The Aarau, Switzerland native posted a flawless 4–0 record across doubles and singles play, guiding Cumberlands to a 6–1 victory over Tusculum and a 5–0 sweep of Carson-Newman. 

In doubles action, Kuster teamed with Gabriele Solda to deliver commanding performances at the top spot, opening both matches with decisive victories. The duo cruised past Tusculum's Sarthak Sharma and Shuzo Uemura, 6–1, before following up with a 6–3 win against Carson-Newman's Louis Keenan and Max Stollecker, setting the tone early for the Patriots in each contest. 

Kuster carried that momentum into singles competition, earning straight-set wins in both matches. Against Tusculum, he dominated Sarthak Sharma at No. 2 singles, 6–1, 6–2. The following day, Kuster moved to the top of the lineup and continued his strong play, defeating Leonard Baecker 6–1, 6–4 to help secure Cumberlands' sweep of Carson-Newman. 

This is his second honor in his career and the first from a Patriot this season. 

Kuster and the Patriots are back on the courts on February 13, where they will travel to Rome, GA to compete in the ITA/NAIA National Indoor Tournament.
