#11 Patriots Claim Patriot Invitational Title; Thanaudomkul Named Individual Champion

London, KY – The #11 University of the Cumberlands women's golf team delivered a strong showing on their home course, capturing first place out of six teams at the Patriot Invitational. The Patriots finished the three-round tournament with a team score of +33, placing comfortably ahead of the rest of the field. 

Cumberlands was led by Atchariya Thanaudomkul, who was named the individual champion after posting a three-round total of 223 (+4). Thanaudomkul opened the event with a 77 (+4) before finishing strong with back-to-back rounds of 73 (E), tallying nine birdies throughout the tournament. 

Ainslee Cruce also delivered an impressive performance, finishing as the tournament runner-up with a total score of 228 (+9). Cruce improved in each round, carding scores of 78 (+5), 76 (+3), and 74 (+1) while recording seven birdies over the three days. 

Jasmine Points finished fourth overall with a three-round score of 230 (+11). Points recorded rounds of 74 (+1), 74 (+1), and 82 (+9), highlighted by eight birdies and an eagle during the event. 

McKenzie Trautman placed fifth overall with a total score of 231 (+12). Trautman shot rounds of 75 (+2), 81 (+8), and 75 (+2), finishing the tournament with four birdies and an eagle. 

Ginevra Capo rounded out the Patriots' scoring lineup with a tie for 13th place, posting a three-round score of 240 (+21) after rounds of 78 (+5), 77 (+4), and 85 (+12). 

Two Patriots also competed as individuals in the event. Jenna Pike finished 21st with a total score of 257 (+38), while Malainey Dobbs placed 23rd with a three-round total of 259 (+40). 

In the final team standings, #11 Cumberlands captured the team title with a score of +33. #16 Lindsey Wilson finished second at +53, followed by #17 Cumberland in third with a score of +71. Oakland City placed fourth at +129, while Georgetown finished fifth at +153 and William Penn rounded out the field in sixth at +163. 

The Patriots will return to action on April 13-14 where they will travel to compete at the Music City Classic in Nashville, Tennessee
