Bowling Green, KY – Following a dominant outing on the mound, Wesley Culley has been named the Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

Culley earned a complete-game victory in Cumberlands 16-1 win over Northwestern Ohio last week. The senior left-hander struck out six batters while scattering seven hits and allowing just one run across seven innings of work.

With the win, Culley improved to 3-0 on the season, helping the Patriots post a 2-1 record during the week. His strong performance on the mound secures his first Mid-South Conference weekly honor of the season.

Culley and the rest of the Patriots will be back in action tomorrow to take on (RV) Milligan in Milligan College, TN.
