Kansas City, MO –Cumberlands men's lacrosse team has been hard preparing for the AAC semifinals this week and will enter that game ranked seventh in the final regular season NAIA Coaches' Poll, released by the national office Wednesday.  UC tallied 34 points and holds a 9-6 record on the season.
 
The Patriots are coming off back-to-back wins, including a 17-7 win over (RV) Life in the quarterfinals of the AAC Tournament.  UC leads the NAIA with an 89.1% clear percentage on the season, while there 54.1% save percentage ranks top-ten in the country.  Cumberlands is averaging 14.4 goals per game on the year.
 
UC has utilized a balanced attack this season with four players netting at least 20 goals on the year.  Dom Lulow, who is coming off back-to-back nine-point performances leads the way with 67 points on the season.  Will Rogers has netted a team-best 43 goals and is the program's career leader in goals and points.  Freshman Nathan Cook has tallied 36 goals, while Caden Abbott has notched 22 goals and 24 assists.
JD Cook is coming off a career-high 21 save performance against Life and has made 82 saves with a 63.1% save percentage.  Dakota White has posted a 59.3% face-off win rate to go along with 92 ground balls.  Kuwese Walker has posted a team-best 24 caused turnovers to go along with 29 ground balls.
 
Madonna earned all six first-place votes and 60 points to be ranked atop the poll, while Kieser is ranked second.  Aquinas, SCAD, Indiana Tech and Reinhardt round out the top-five.
 
The Patriots advance to the AAC semifinals, where they will face top-seed Keiser.  That game is set for Friday, May 1st, at 1 p.m. in Marietta, GA.
