Bowling Green, KY – A highly efficient week at the net propelled Sara Zampedri to Mid-South Conference Attacker of the Week honors, conference officials announced Monday.

Zampedri helped lead Cumberlands to a pair of victories, averaging 3.80 kills per set while posting an impressive .656 attacking percentage. The graduate student committed just two attacking errors across 32 attempts during the week.

The Brescia, Italy native recorded double-digit kills in both matches, helping the Patriots secure wins over Andrew (Ga.) and Bluefield (Va.).

The award marks Zampedri's first Mid-South Conference weekly honor of the season and 12^th of her career. Zampedri and the rest of the Patriots will return to the court on Friday, August 28, when the Patriots travel to Kokomo, IN, for the IU Kokomo Tournament.
