Traversone and Abigail Little both netted their first goals of the season, while Lisa Skjoldager and Laura Bosca tallied assists.  Morgan White made a pair of saves while the Patriots backline limited Truett McConnell to just four shots on frame.

The Bears looked to strike first as Evangelina Seidel fired a shot, however, White was there to keep the match scoreless. UC took control of the possession over the next 15 minutes tallying four shots and two corner kicks, however, the game remained tied.  The two teams traded possession for the next 20 minutes of the half, with Ines Martin Garcia De La Torre taking a pair of corner kicks for Cumberlands.  Strong defensive efforts by both teams kept the match scoreless at the break.

Truett McConnell looked for the equalizer a few minutes later as Isabelle Allen got behind the Pats defense, however, Samantha Sokolove made a team save keeping UC in front.  The two teams traded corner kicks before a Skjoldager shot deflected off the crossbar in the 64'.  The Bears found an equalizer in the 70' tying the match at 1-1.  The Patriots continued to apply pressure and in the 83' Bosca crossed the ball into the box from the right flank, where Traversone made one touch before finishing giving UC a 2-1 advantage.  Truett McConnell put a shot on frame in the 88', but White made the save to preserve the 2-1 victory.
