NAIA Ball Pitcher of the Week... 3x MSC Pitcher of the Week... Made 15 appearances with 15 starts...Totaled a 13-0 record for a new single-season wins program high with an ERA of 2.85 and B/AVG of .194...Tallied new single-season program high of 124 strikeouts across 88.1 innings... Threw three complete games with two shut outs and a no hitter (03/03/24)... Finished with a fielding percentage of 1.000, marking four putouts, six assists, and caught three stealing...Avila signed with the Los Angeles Angels and was assigned to the Inland Empire 66ers (A). 

As a junior (2023)... NAIA All-American Honorable Mention... MSC First-Team All-Conference... Made 20 appearances with one start... Had a 3.38 ERA while tallying 41 strikeouts... Pitched 29.1 innings and came away with a team-high nine saves and a 1-3 record...

Cesar Avila... Is a transfer junior from Livingston, CA. Before coming to UC, he went Merced College.
