Jessica Rodriguez, the 13^th-ranked NAIA wrestler, earned women's athlete of the week after knocking off fifth-ranked Faye Cherrier of Life by pinfall at the 109 weight class. The pin evened the score at 5-5 as the seventh-ranked Patriot defeated fourth-ranked Life to capture their first MSC Regular Season Championships.  Rodriguez has come on strong riding a six-match win streak including three wins over NAIA ranked opponents.
