Bryan Benz earned male player of the week honors after hitting .471 with four home runs and ten RBI’s. Benz started his week going 2-5 with a pair of two-run homers in the Patriots win over Kentucky State.  The senior followed that up by going 3-4 with a homerun and five RBI’s in UC’s 10-0 win over Pikeville.  In the series finale against the Bears, Benz added a double and a homerun as part of a 3-4 day.  On the season, Benz is hitting .299 with 11 homeruns and 30 RBI’s. It’s the third straight year that Benz has tallied at least ten homeruns in a season.
