Steven Fitzgerald earned the male athlete of the week honors after posting a career week.  The Somerset, KY native averaged 23.3 points and 9.7 rebounds over a three-game stretch, including notching a pair of career-high's.  He opened the week by pacing the Patriots with a career-high 27 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Milligan.  Fitzgerald followed that up by surpassing his previous career-high going for 29 points and 12 rebounds against Saint Xavier.  This also marks the third career double-double for Fitzgerald.  The junior capped off his week with 14 points and six rebounds against Ohio Valley to help UC improve to 3-0 on the season.
