Hinson earned the male athlete of the month honors after leading the Patriots to a 4-2 record on the month. The junior averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, four assists, and four steals on the Month. Hinson opened the month with consecutive 20+ point performance in back-to-back wins over IU Southeast. Hinson dropped 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds at IU Southeast for his second double-double of the season and third of his career. He followed that up with 27 points on 8-17 shooting as UC defeated the Grenadiers at the Cumberlands Classic. Over those two games, Hinson converted 15-16 from the charity stripe in the wins. The Detroit, MI native added a career-high 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Patriots captured their first MSC win a 72-66 victory over Campbellsville. Hinson closed out the month with a nine point game in the win over Simmons. On the season, he is second on the team with 17.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
