Kaylie Monday earned athlete of the month honors after leading the Patriots to a 5-1 record averaging 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 5.8 steals per game on the month. The Clarkrange, TN native tallied four double-doubles on the month and made program history with becoming the first UC player in to record consecutive 10+ steal games. Monday opened the week with 15 points eight rebounds, and four assists in the win over Shawnee State. The senior followed it up with back-to-back 17 point games, while grabbing a career-high 12 rebounds to go along with eight steals as UC defeated Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and Puerto Rico Bayamon. Monday closed out the Puerto Rico trip with 14 points, seven rebounds and five steals against PR Mayaguez. Kaylie netted a career-high 27 points on 10-14 shooting to go along with 10 steals and nine rebounds in the win over Union. She followed it up with 21 points, 10 steals and nine rebounds against Milligan.
