The Lancaster, CA native had an impressive opening day at the Patriot Duals compiling a 4-0 record, including three tech falls and a forfeit win. Guilford tallied a 7-2 decision over Liliana Vergara (Campbellsville), who is ranked sixth in the 191 lbs. weight class, and needed just 1:19 to earn a fall of #18 Catherine McNulty (Indiana Tech). The Lancaster, CA native averaged 1:30 of mat time per match with eight of them ending during the first period. Guilford won each of her four tech falls by a 10-0 score, limiting the opposition to just one team point against her over the two-day tournament. Guilford is the #1 ranked wrestler in the NAIA at the 170 lbs. weight class.
