Elisa Corradi earned athlete of the month honors after winning six races, achieving five NAIA provisional cuts, and breaking three pool records on the month. The freshman made her Patriots debut against Asbury where she won all three events she competed in. She opened the meet winning the 200 fly with a time of 2:08.41. That time was 11 seconds faster than the provisional cut and was the fourth fastest time in the NAIA this season. Corradi followed that up clocking a winning time of 2:22.91 in the 200 breast, which is the sixth fastest time in the NAIA this season. The Verona, Italy native capped off the meet helping UC win the 400 free relay as the quartet of swimmers touched the wall in 3:50.17. Corradi followed that up by finished atop the podium in all three of her individual events, breaking three pool records against sixth-ranked Milligan. Corradi clocked a time of 2:23.19 in the 200 fly, went 2:40.60 in the 200-meter breast, and 5:10.84 in the 400-meter IM. The 400 IM time was 21 seconds faster than the provisional cut. The freshman capped off her month by being part of UC’s 200-meter medley relay that went 2:05.88 and finished runner-up.
