Charlie Muniz earned athlete of the week honors after going 14-17 for an .824 average with five homers, 17 RBIs and eight runs scored.  The sophomore opened the week going 3-4 with four RBIs, including hitting a two-run bomb to center in the fifth hitting to give UC a 6-1 lead over #2 Tennessee Wesleyan.  Muniz followed that up with an RBI single to center the next inning.  In the series opener against Wilberforce, Muniz went 5-5 with three homeruns and nine RBIs.  The sophomore led off the game with a solo shot, before smashing a two-run shot in the fourth and a grand slam in the fifth.  Muniz capped off  the week by going 6-8 with four RBI and four runs scored as the Patriots earned the sweep over the Bulldogs.  Muniz slugged 1.706% and had a .842 on base percentage on the week.
