Sara Zampedri earned athlete of the week honors after having a career performance on the week.  The freshman notched 30 kills, 38 digs, six aces, and a block over two matches.  Zampedri opened the week with ten kills and eight digs in UC’s 3-0 sweep against Kentucky State.  The Flero, Italy native notched a career-best .529 hitting percentage in the match.  Zampedri followed that up with a career-high 20 kills and 30 digs to go along with five aces against Campbellsville.  The 20 kills and 30 digs are the most by a Patriot player this season.  Zampedri leads the MSC with 347 kills, while she is fourth with 304 digs.
