University of the Cumberlands Athletics

Hauke Trost earned athlete of the week honors after a national qualifying performance.  Trost competed in the mile of the PNC Lenny Lyles Invite, where he crossed the line in 4:08.36.  That time clipped the NAIA A standard and is the second fastest time in the NAIA this season.  Trost placed 17^th in the event against a stacked field of NCAA DI competitors.
