Brad Montgomery earned male player of the week honors after recording five tackles, 0.5 sacks, and a blocked punt in the Patriots 50-17 win over Bluefield.  Late in the first quarter Montgomery teamed with Demarius Smith to tackle the Rams Bryce Verble for the three-yard loss on third down.  On the next play Montgomery broke through the line and blocked a Bluefield punt through the endzone for a safety to give the Patriots a 9-0 lead.  On the season, Montgomery has recorded 35 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
