Napoli, Italy – After qualifying 11
th and earning a first-round bye UC archer
Josh Isenhoff advance to the third round before falling in the men's compound event Wednesday afternoon at the World University Games.
After the bye, Isenhoff faced 22
nd-seed Chen Hsiang-Hsuan of Chinese Taipei. Isenhoff pulled out the win in 146-145 to advance to third round where he faced sixth-seed Miguel Becerra Rivas of Mexico. Isenhoff fell to Becerra Rivas 146-136 in the third round to be eliminated from singles competition.
Isenhoff will return to the range tomorrow to compete in the compound mixed team event with teammate Dahlia Klimitchek and the men's compound team event with Denver Gross of Union.
