Napoli, Italy – UC archer
Josh Isenhoff looked to earn a podium finish in the men's compound team event, however, the duo would come up just short as the placed fourth at the World University Games Friday afternoon.
The duo of Isenhoff and Denver Gross of Union faced top-seed Miguel Becerra Rivas and Rodolfo Gonzalez De Alba of Mexico in the bronze medal match. Mexico took a one-point lead after the first end 39-38 and extended their lead to 78-75 midway through the match. Isenhoff and Gross posted a 39 in the third end but it wasn't enough as they fell 158-150 to earn the fourth place finish.
