Bowling Green, KY – The UC men's soccer team competed in their first game of the season on Saturday and the tremendous play of
Akililu Zambataro in net earned him Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
Over the course of the 90 minutes Zambataro stopped five shots from Indiana Tech to keep the game within reach for Cumberlands. The sophomore stepped up his play at the end of the game, rejecting three shots in the final ten minutes.
