NAIA Coaches Poll - Preseason

Kansas City, MO – After posting a 46-8 record and finishing 11^th in the postseason poll, UC Baseball will start the season in the top 25, with a ranking of 11^th, as announced by the national office Wednesday morning.

The 46-8 record last season was the second most wins in a season in program's history. The team also won both the Mid-South regular season title and the Mid-South tournament title in the same year for the first time since 2004. Last season also marked the third straight year that the Patriots advanced to the NAIA Opening Round.

The Patriots finished the season ranked third in the NAIA in ERA with a 3.39. UC balanced their strong pitching with good hitting. The Patriots finished top 10 in the nation in five offensive categories. Two Patriots earned NAIA All-Americans honors.

Cumberlands is set to start their season in early February on the 5^th and 6^th in Williamsburg, KY against the University of Cincinnati-Clermont.
