Williamsburg, KY – Cumberlands baseball alumni
Kevin Rolon inked his name on his first professional contract earlier this week. Rolon signed with the Ottawa Titans Baseball Club of the Frontier League. The Titans play at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The Frontier League states that they will not have any hangover from the current MLB lockout and will have their opening day on May 12, 2022.

Brad Shelton said, "We are very proud of Kevin. He had a great career at UC and was one of the top shortstops in the country. I am always happy to see our graduates get a chance at the next level and I look forward to following his professional career".
The Ponce, Puerto Rico native finish his career at UC with nine home runs, 47 RBI, while having a 307-batting average and an on base percentage of 417. He notched 76 hits and eight stolen bases. Rolon also earned MSC First-Team All-Conference honors twice and started all but one game during his career for the Patriots.
