Williamsburg, KY – After completing one of the most successful seasons in program history, which concluded with the highest final ranking, the UC men's tennis team earned both team and individual academic recognitions from the ITA. Cumberlands led the NAIA with 16 NAIA ITA Scholar-Athletes, while the Patriots were one of 25 ITA All-Academic Team.

Quentin Villetorte, are the 16 Patriots that earned this honor.
Cumberlands closed out the year with an 18-4 record and advanced to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament. UC was ranked 13
th in the final NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll and garnered their first ITA All-American doubles team as Barbier and Banoub earned that distinction earlier this summer.
In addition to shining on the court, the Patriots have continued to shine in the classroom leading the way with 13 Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference selections, while Barbier was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team last week.
To be eligible for ITA All-Academic Team honors, teams must have at least a 3.2 GPA, while ITA Scholar-Athletes must have at least a 3.50 GPA for the current academic year. This year there were 25 teams and 199 student-athletes that earned this distinction.
