Bowling Green, KY – Leonardo Daley had a spectacular weekend in Louisville, KY as the indoor track & field team competed in the Tiger Paw Classic. Daley competed in three events, recording personal best performances in each. These performances earned him MSC Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second time in his career as a Patriot. 
 
Daley placed first in the 60m hurdles where he posted a time of 8.13 for a national qualifying "A" cut. This time broke the previous school record of 8.44 that Daley achieved in the 2020 indoor season. This is his second straight win in the 60m hurdles this year.
 
The sophomore ran in the 60m and 200m dash on Friday as well. He finished 12^th in the 200m with a time of 22.90 and placed 15^th in the prelims of the 60m dash crossing the line in 7.13. These were both career best times for Daley.
 
Leo and the Patriots will return to the track this weekend as they head to Winston-Salem, NC for the Camel City Invitational. This is a two day meet, starting on Friday.
