NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll: 5

Kansas City, MO – The UC men's soccer team had another undefeated week to keep them ranked #13 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll, announced by the national office, Wednesday. This marks the second straight poll UC has held the #13 spot.

Cumberlands has posted a 6-2-2 overall record, making them one of ten teams in the top-15 with two losses or less. UC ranks 12^th in both goals against average (0.59) and corner kicks with 72.

Stephen Appiah continues to lead the team offensively with nine goals this season followed by Rodrigo Riveros who has scored three times. Pablo Vazquez has been a fortress in goal for UC, only giving up four goals all season while making 21 saves. He along with the defense have also recorded four shutouts on the season. Vazquez is coming off his second straight and third overall MSC Defensive Player of the Week honor.

The Patriots remain the highest ranked team in the Mid-South Conference with both Cumberland U and Bethel receiving votes. The Patriots remain undefeated in conference play, posting a 3-0-1 record, outscoring opponents, 11-3.

Cumbelalnds is coming off September where they went 5-0-1 with three shutouts. The team already has one game done in the month of October, defeating Shawnee State, 4-1.

UC will play their next game later today, hosting UT-Southern at the UC Soccer Complex for a 4:30PM ET kick-off.
