Bowling Green, KY – Following a four-goal week, Nico Romero has been named the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. 

Romero tallied eight points and recorded the game-winning goal in both of the Patriots' victories on the week. He opened the week by scoring the lone goal in Cumberlands' 1-0 conference road win over Campbellsville in the first minute of the match. Romero finished the match with three shots, putting one on goal. 

The Patriot followed that performance with a hat trick in just one half of action in UC's 7-0 win over Northwestern Ohio. Romero found the back of the net on all three of his shots in the match, including converting a penalty kick, to tally six points. 

For the week, Romero finished with four goals, eight points and two game-winning goals. He tallied six shots, putting four on frame, while posting a .667 shooting percentage.
