Miami Gardens, FL- Competing in just their second regional championship in program history, the UC dance team posted a fourth-place finish at the NAIA Competitive Dance Regional Saturday afternoon.  The competition featured two rounds with the first round worth 25%, while the second round was worth 75% of their overall score. 

Cumberlands received a first round score of 79.3, while the Patriots boasted a second round score of 77.7. UC finished with a final score of 78 to finish a few points behind first place.

Fellow Mid-South Conference opponent, Thomas More, won the regionals at St. Thomas University Saturday evening.

UC is set to return to the dance floor on Tuesday, February 22 for their final competition of the regular season at Missouri Baptist University.
