Ellisville, MO – The Patriots dance team competed at the American Midwest Conference Championship this past weekend for the first time in program history. While working hard to compete to the best of their ability, UC dance has also excelled in the classroom with 6 student-athletes garnering the AMC Academic All-Conference honors.  

For the second year in a row, Liza Grinsteinner was named Academic All-Conference. Five freshmen, Katie Hale, Lacy Parnell, Savannah Brooks, Syriana Sabbaugh, and Kiya Clark received Academic All-Conference in their first year with the UC dance team.   

The Cumberlands dance team will now play the waiting game as they count down the days to March 17th  when the NAIA announces which teams are receiving an at-large bid to NAIA Nationals. Their final competition of the season will be NDA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL on April 9-13.
