St. Louis, MO- Taking part in their final competition of the regular season, the UC dance team dropped two close contests in their dual against Missouri Baptist University.

The Patriots opened the competition with an 82.5 total score after the first round. The Spartans were able to tally a final first round score of 83.87 to finish slightly ahead and capture the first dual of the night.

Cumberlands regrouped for round two and posted a second round score of 80.7. Missouri Baptist posted a second round score of 82.5 to tab their second win of the night.

On the night, UC averaged an overall score of 81.6, which is just four points behind their overall competition average this season.

The Patriots now await their fate to see if they make the NAIA National Tournament. The nationals selection show will take place on Sunday, February 27.
