Ypsilanti, MI – The Patriots competitive dance team wrapped up an historic season competing on the final day of the NAIA National Championships.  The Patriots were the first team to take the floor this afternoon looking to improve on their day one score of 64.40.

Cumberlands performed a near flawless routine to score a 67.033, however, a 0.5 point deduction left UC with a round two score of 66.53.  That score was worth 75% of their overall score and gave UC a total score of 66.00 for the championships to finish 12^th.

Morningside captured the NAIA national championship with a score of 92.31 edging out St. Ambrose, who recorded a 92.17.  MSC rival Thomas More scored a 75.65 to place ninth at the championships.

The Patriots had a historic season that featured setting a program record for highest score in a competition at 88.67 and making their first appearance at the NAIA National Championships.
