Bowling Green, KY – Continuing their excellence both on the field and in the classroom, 24 Patriots have been named to the Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference Team, marking the seventh consecutive season Cumberlands men's soccer has earned recognition for academic achievement. 

Leading the way for UC are returners Bruno Garcia, Antonis Seraphides, Bart-Jan Brams, Mario Fernandez, Tjerk Meijs, Moises Zenteno, Caio Costa, Brandon Diaz, and Jonan Hamilton, each earning the honor for another season. 

First-time honorees include Zachary Dean, Abdulah Adams, Gabriel Canineu, Javiero Izquierdo, Hugo Champalloux, Patrick Ostergreen, Carles Herreo, Felipe Nazario, Bruno Marques, John Keck, Ryota Nakamura, Fabio Bazan, Martin Gomez, Leandro Protto, and Samuel Dolobaipu.

To be nominated for the Academic All-Conference team, each athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and have completed at least one year at a college or university. 

The Patriots are getting ready to start postseason play on Wednesday, November 5, where Cumberlands is hosting Cumberland University for the MSC Semifinals. The game is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Williamsburg, KY at the UC Soccer Complex.
