Ann Arbor, MI – The Patriots dance team competed in their second competition of the season, placing sixth out of seven teams at the Concordia University Invitational on Saturday.

Head coach R.J. Conroy said, "I am really proud to watch these ladies improve their score. We have seen a lot of progress and cannot wait to see what they do in Iowa."

UC secured a score of 80.50 with Concordia University placing first with a score of 88.83, followed by Marian, Madonna, Lourdes, and Aquinas.

"We may have not placed the way we wanted, but we improved our score compared to last competition. Improving our score is something that I am proud of and the girls should be proud too. We are going to get back in the gym and really focus on pushing ourselves and fixing some small things these next two weeks to prepare for our next competition" said assistant coach Katy Powers.

The Cumberlands dance team will be heading to Oskaloosa, Iowa to compete at William Penn University on Saturday, March 1.
