Oskaloosa, IA – The Patriots dance team competed in their last competition of the regular season at William Penn University on Sunday. UC competed in two rounds of competition, placing fourth in both. 

The Cumberlands opened with a score of 62.23 in round one with Graceland University coming out on top earning an 84.2. Mount Mercy University came in second, scoring a 79.6 followed by William Penn University securing third with a score of 77.8. 

"We performed well today," said Head Coach R.J. Conroy. "We need to execute the tricks in our routine just as well as we perform." 

The Pats improved their score in the second round of competition earning a 70.1. Graceland came out on top again securing a score of 84.1 followed by William Penn and Mount Mercy. 

UC dance is back in action on March 7th to compete at the American Midwest Conference Championship for the first time in Columbia, MO.
