4/3/2025 2:06:00 PM

Kansas City, MO – The Patriots cheerleading team had a great regular season and it has been capped with one athlete earning All-American honors.

Sophomore, Kaylie Proffitt earned third team honors for the first time in her career. She hails from London, KY and was also named to the Mid-South Conference first team this year. Proffitt competed in all seven competitions this season and helped lead the Pats to 2nd place at the Mid-South Conference Tournament and 7th at the NAIA National Tournament.

Competitive Cheer All-Americans are determined by the national championship judges, and each team – First, Second, and Third – is made up, by score, of 18 student-athletes, unless multiple athletes are tied for the 18th spot on a team. Student-Athletes are recorded doing four elements: toe tuck, triple jump combination, jump combination, round off back handspring full twisting layout, and stunts. They are graded on a scale of 1-5 ranging from poor form and technique to superior form and technique
