NAIA Coaches' Poll
Kansas City, MO – After unbeaten start to the season, that includes three wins over top-15 opponents, the Patriots women's soccer team have climbed to second in the NAIA Coaches' Poll, announced by the national office Wednesday. Cumberlands earned 11 first-place votes and 496 points to climb three spots for the second straight poll.
UC is 6-0-3 on the season, with a 1-0 win over top-ranked Keiser along wins over Aquinas and Indiana Wesleyan. Cumberlands is holding their opponents to 0.67 goals against average with five shutouts on the year.
Morgan White, the reigning NAIA Defensive Player of the Week, has made 25 of her season high 44 saves over the past three matches with a pair of shutouts. The Patriots defense led by

Madison Long,
Noah Paalman, and
Karla Waibel has limited opponents to 9.6 shots per game.
Offensively, the Patriots averaging 1.78 goals per game with eight different players recording goals on the season.
Nicole Araujo leads the way with five goals and 12 points on the year.
Wakana Ose netted her first multi-goal game of the season in the 2-1 win over St. Thomas, while Lettizia Traversone added the game-winning goal against the Seahawks.
Keiser is the top-ranked team in the poll with 497 points and six first-place votes. William Carey, Marian and College of Idaho round out the top-five. MSC rival Cumberland climbed five sports to be ranked 14
th, while Campbellsville and Lindsey Wilson are receiving votes.
The Patriots will return to the pitch on Saturday, September 20, when they travel to Lebanon, TN to face the Phoenix in their MSC opener. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
