Johnson City, TN – The No. 11 University of the Cumberlands women's golf team continued its strong fall season with a statement victory at the East Tennessee Collegiate, hosted by Milligan University at Johnson City Country Club. The Patriots topped a competitive six-team NAIA field, finishing first overall with a two-round score of (+12) to capture the team title.

Leading the way was Ainslee Cruce, who fired rounds of 72 (E) and 71 (-1) to post a 36-hole total of 143 (-1), just three strokes shy of the program's record. Her steady play and 11 birdies helped her earn her first collegiate individual title.

Right behind her was Atchariya Thanaudomkul, who carded rounds of 72 (E) and 74 (+2) for a total of 146 (+2). She tied for second overall and tallied six birdies across the tournament.

The Patriots placed three golfers inside the top 10, with Jasmine Points finishing tied for sixth after rounds of 73 (+1) and 78 (+6).

Ginevra Capo followed closely behind with a 153 (+9), tying for 10th while recording seven birdies.

McKenzie Trautman rounded out the lineup in 12th place, posting a 154 (+10) highlighted by a bounce-back second-round 75 (+3).

Cumberlands' depth and consistency proved to be the difference as they outpaced fellow NAIA ranked opponents, No. 17 Pikeville (+20) and No. 20 Milligan (+34), to secure the tournament win.

UC will return to action October 13-14 at the Gibson Bay Invitational, hosted by Lindsey Wilson University in Richmond, Kentucky.
