Bowling Green, KY – As the Patriots women's wrestling team continues to build success on the mat, they are also excelling in the classroom with 23 wrestlers earning MSC Academic All-Conference honors. 

In addition to the all-conference honorees, Micah Fisher was named as the Patriots representative to the MSC Champions of Character team for the second consecutive year.

Veteran Macey Allen garners this honor for the fourth consecutive year. Presley Anderson, Kaitlin Castro, Jakeline Esquivel, Kendra Johnston, Sierra Mefford, and Shammilka Miranda-Diaz are repeat recipients after earning the distinction last season. 

Cara Brown, Angelina Casteneda, Victoria Day, Genesis Egli, Asia Fowler, Jaclyn Hodge, Madison Leverknight, Micah Miller, Alivia Ming, Mary Jane Porter, Saiheron Preciado-Meza, Amaria Ridgner, Sophie Sarver, Valora Sears, Kaylin Taylor, and Elise Toste each garner this honor for the first time in their careers. 

In order to be nominated for the Academic All-Conference Team, each athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have completed at least one year at a college or university. The MSC also recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. Student-athletes honored on the Champions of Character Team are nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values the NAIA embraces.
