Bowling Green, KY – The UC Archery hit the range as they competed at the Owensboro, KY site to compete in the 2026 USA Collegiate Indoor Championship last weekend.  After posting the top qualifying score in their respective division, Patriots Jackson Ratajczak and Cammie Shuman were named the MSC Archers of the Week. 

Ratajczak garnered his first career archer of the week award after a stellar performance during indoor nationals.  The sophomore notched an 1193 to finish tied for first in the men's fixed pins collegiate division.  Ratajczak carded a 299 in both the second and fourth rounds, while carding a 297 and 298 to round out his scoring.  That score is the second best qualifying score in program history as he hit 113 ten's with seven 9's over the two day tournament.  This is Ratajczak's first weekly honor of his career.

Shuman notched her first career archer of the week award after a career performance.  Shuman cared an 1184 to post the top qualification mark in the women's fixed pins division for indoor nationals.  That score was a career-best for the senior and was the second best qualifying score in program history.  Shuman opened with back-to-back 296's before carding a 298 in the third round.  She closed out the tournament with a 294 as she notched 105 ten's and 14 nine's over the two day tournament.

Cumberlands now shifts its focus to outdoor season.  They will return to the range on April 9th when they host the USA Outdoor Regionals Championship at the All-Purpose Field.  It will be a two day regional before the MSC Outdoor Championships.
