Toccoa, GA – The #11 University of the Cumberlands women's golf team secured a fourth-place finish out of nine teams at the Currahee Club Invitational with a three-round total of +93.
The Patriots competed in a strong field featuring several nationally ranked programs. #6 SCAD Savannah (Ga.) claimed the team title with a score of (+48), followed by #3 Dalton State (Ga.) in second (+59) and #20 Cumberland (Tenn.) in third (+76). Cumberlands finished ahead of #7 Indiana Wesleyan, #9 Southeastern (Fla.), #18 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), and #21 Truett McConnell (Ga.).
Ginevra Capo paced the Patriots with a top-10 finish, tying for 10th overall with a 233 (+17). She opened the tournament with a 77 (+5) before carding rounds of 82 (+10) and 74 (+2), recording five birdies across the three rounds.
Atchariya Thanaudomkul also turned in a strong showing, finishing T-15 with a 238 (+22). She posted rounds of 75 (+3), 87 (+15), and 76 (+4) while leading the Patriots with seven birdies during the tournament.
Jasmine Points finished T-18 overall with a 239 (+23) after rounds of 77 (+5), 80 (+8), and 82 (+10), tallying five birdies across the event.
Ainslee Cruce added rounds of 84 (+12), 85 (+13), and 82 (+10) to finish T-36 with a 251 (+35), while McKenzie Trautman rounded out the Patriots' lineup with rounds of 88 (+16), 83 (+11), and 85 (+13) to place 40th overall with a 256 (+40).
Cumberlands will return to action on March 16–17 when they compete at the Firehawk Collegiate in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
