Williamsburg, KY – The University of the Cumberlands men's soccer team continued its commitment to community engagement this past week, hosting a youth clinic for Whitley County Middle School at the Whitley County Soccer Complex.
The clinic, held Wednesday afternoon, brought Patriots student-athletes together with local middle school players for a two-hour session focused on skill development and mentorship. Throughout the event, UC players led drills emphasizing ball control, passing, shooting, and overall game awareness while working closely with participants in small groups.
In addition to on-field instruction, the clinic provided an opportunity for the middle school athletes to interact with collegiate players, offering insight into the game at the next level while fostering a fun and encouraging environment.
Under the direction of head coach Paulo Neto, the Patriots used the event as a way to give back to the local community and build connections with young athletes in the Williamsburg and Whitley County area.
The clinic is part of Cumberlands men's soccer's ongoing efforts to remain active in the community through service initiatives and youth engagement.
