Kansas City, MO – The University of the Cumberlands women's golf team remained at No. 10 in the latest NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll, earning 331 points after another strong performance on the course. 

The Patriots most recently competed at the Music City Classic in Old Hickory, Tennessee, where they placed fifth out of 21 teams with a three-round total of 906 (+42). Cumberlands also finished as the top Mid-South Conference team in the field, finishing ahead of No. 17 Cumberland University, No. 16 Lindsey Wilson College, Bethel University, Georgetown College, and RV Freed-Hardeman University. 

University of the Cumberlands was led by a pair of steady performances from Ainslee Cruce and Jasmine Points, who each tied for 26th overall with a three-round score of 227 (+11). Cruce opened the tournament with a 73 (+1) before adding rounds of 78 (+6) and 76 (+4), finishing with six birdies. Points matched that total with rounds of 77 (+5), 75 (+3), and 75 (+3), recording five birdies and an eagle. 

Ginevra Capo added another strong finish for the Patriots, tying for 34th with a total score of 228 (+12). Capo improved in each round, carding scores of 78 (+6), 76 (+4), and 74 (+2), while collecting four birdies. 

Atchariya Thanaudomkul finished tied for 32nd with a score of 229 (+13). After opening with an 80 (+8), she responded with a 73 (+1) in round two before closing with a 76 (+4), totaling six birdies during the event. 

McKenzie Trautman rounded out the scoring lineup, tying for 30th overall with a score of 230 (+14). She posted rounds of 76 (+4), 79 (+7), and 75 (+3), adding three birdies across the tournament. 

The Patriots will return to action April 27-28 as they travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to compete in the Mid-South Conference Championship tournament, looking to carry their momentum into the postseason.
