Bowling Green, KY – The University of the Cumberlands women's golf team continued to find success both on the course and in the classroom, with seven student-athletes earning Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference honors following a strong season. Ginevra Capo was named to the MSC Champion of Character team.

Malainey Dobbs and Breanna Trautman each collected the honor for the first time in their careers.  

McKenzie Trautman, Jenna Pike, Atchariya Thanaudomkul, and Ainslee Cruce were all named to the team for the second consecutive year, while Ginevra Capo earned Academic All-Conference recognition for the third time. 

In order to be nominated for the MSC Academic All-Conference Team, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and have completed at least one full year at their institution. 

Cumberlands (Ky.) produced the most women's golf academic honorees with seven, followed closely by Bethel (Tenn.) and Cumberland (Tenn.) with six each. 

The Patriots tee off at the Mid-South Conference tournament Monday, April 27, with the last round set to play Tuesday, April 28.
