Bowling Green, KY – The Patriots continue to find success in the classroom as 14 student-athletes earned Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference honors, recognizing their work both on the field and in the classroom. The MSC also names a Champion of Character representative for each institution.
Leading the way for the Patriots, Aniyah White, Jessica Cord, Alyssa Gent, and Kirsten Smith each earned MSC Academic All-Conference honors for the second time in their careers, continuing to build on their academic success.
A strong group of 10 Patriots found themselves on the All-Academic list for the first time including Mayson Carr, Krystal Anne Casteneda, Emily Cole, Emily Delgado, Lexie Escamilla, Cassidy Gentry, Abby Guinn, MaKenzie Henderson, Ryann Livingston, and Grace Ross.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter. The MSC also recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. Student-athletes selected to that team are nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
The Patriots will now turn their attention to postseason play as they open Mid-South Conference Tournament action on Thursday at 6:30 PM ET in Columbia, KY.
